Stories I create, visually and with words.
I’ve been making stuff up and telling stories in various forms for just over two decades. Using what I’ve learnt from design and brand development, I channel my creative energy into writing books, making stuff, and creating art.
As far back as I can remember, my fascination and curiosity with life always led me to find stories all around me, even in the tiniest of details.
This overactive imagination did occasionally land me in hilarious situations that, to this day, I cannot explain.

My debut kid’s novel, Hoerikwaggo, is set in my childhood playground; the mountains and forests of Cape Town, South Africa. I return there often with my wife and son, and have interesting conversations with trees.

The two young baboons save a human baby from a terrible fire, and are propelled into an intense, and often hilarious, adventure as they journey to reunite the baby with the humans. The landscape has changed however, and they soon discover that not all is as it seems.

A young dragon from a far-away forest land loses his tooth and goes on an adventure in search of the tooth-fairy. On his way there he meets a new friend who takes him on a treasure hunt!
This book started out as a simple bedtime story for my son when he was one year old. The more I told it, the more it grew. Sometimes because of his curiosity, and sometimes because of his suggestions of what should happen next. So, essentially, we created this story together.
